Lindsay and Adam's Story
Finn is Lindsay & Adam's 1st baby; he was born by emergency caesarean section after transferring to hospital from a planned home birth.
We can't find words adequate enough to express how grateful we are for the care you have provided.
We felt so lucky to have found you & feel privileged to have benefited from your skill, knowledge, professionalism and warmth. Adam was particularly impressed by the way you naturally involved him in all discussions -unlike many of the NHS staff we met.
You both won our complete trust from Day 1 - giving us much needed confidence and peace of mind prior to, during & following Finn's birth. Your non-judgemental, relaxed & flexible attitudes (particularly towards payments and home visits) have been a big bonus for us.
The fact that Finn's birth didn't quite go to plan makes us even more thankful that we had you both there to support & guide us. I dread to think about how different an experience it all would have been without your involvement; I have no doubts that I would have been medically induced, & subjected to all the interventions that I was so strongly against, & Adam would have had to endure a nightmare experience with no support.
We cannot fault any aspect of your care. Your expertise combined with your wonderful personalities makes your service second to none. You made my pregnancy & Finn's birth the completely special experience we had hoped for.
You are both worth your weight in gold!
